This Privacy Policy explains how the Qordo Scan app ("Qordo Scan", "we", "us") handles your information. We aim to collect as little as possible.
The short version: The documents you scan are stored on your own device, not on our servers. The only personal information we may collect is an email address, and only if you choose to create an account.
1. Documents you scan
Photos and documents you capture or import are processed and saved locally on your device. Scanning, image enhancement, text recognition (OCR), signing and PDF creation all run on the device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your scanned documents.
2. Information we collect
- Email address (optional): If you create an account or unlock the free unlimited tier, we collect your email address to identify your account and to send occasional product updates and a short feedback request. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Feedback you submit: If you choose to send feedback, we receive the message you write.
- We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or the contents of your documents.
3. How we use information
- To provide and maintain your account and the app's features.
- To send you product updates and feedback requests (you can unsubscribe).
- To improve the app based on the feedback you choose to give.
4. Permissions
- Camera: used only to capture documents you scan. Images are processed on your device.
- Photos / files: used only when you choose to import an image to scan.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not share your documents with anyone — they never leave your device unless you yourself choose to share or export them.
6. Data retention & deletion
Your documents remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. If you gave us your email and want it removed, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
7. Children
Qordo Scan is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
